The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is a self-proclaimed Marxist-Leninist revolutionary guerrilla organization, listed internationally as a terrorist group by most countries. Current estimates claim that the FARC have over 700 hostages at the moment, most of whom are not considered "political" by their standards, and of whom most are held for ransom. read more
