Overall Purpose:

The HR Associate is member of the Regional Human Resources team, providing support to Headquarters and other units/departments managed from Geneva. S/he participates in maintaining a high responsive and performing HR service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.

In alignment with HD values and internal priorities, the main responsibilities of the HR Associate are to:

  • Support the coordination of HD recruitment processes: support the selection processes and the organisation of tests and interviews ; and ensure the tracking of recruiting metrics;
  • Support the HR data collection, storage and archiving, in compliance with data protection regulations;
  • Support the implementation of the Learning & Development framework, in particular by collecting and compiling reports and data: appraisals, training requests,
  • Support the employee work cycle management, from on boarding-induction to departure;

As a member of the HR unit, the HR associate contributes to:

  • The review ofp work processes and procedures, forms, documents and internal tools;
  • The elaboration of the HR news/HR internal communication;

Qualifications and professional skills:

  • Degree or certificate in HR management or equivalent work experience in a HR role;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in supporting HR management and HR data, preferably in a multicultural environment, (experience in recruitment or learning & development a plus);
  • Excellent command of English and French;
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Hubdrive would be a plus);
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office;
  • Good understanding of HR theories and good practices, and commitment to continuous learning;
  • Detail-oriented, organised and conscientious;
  • Capable of multi-tasking and of meeting tight deadlines;
  • Customer-focused, with a great sense of team spirit;
  • Discretion in the management of sensitive
