The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) has today been awarded the Carnegie Wateler Peace Prize for 2022 for our “track record of finding the means, including mediation, to bring parties together and end conflicts”.

We are deeply honoured by this prestigious award from the Carnegie Foundation-Peace Palace in recognition of our mission and multi-track efforts to resolve conflict, reduce the suffering caused by war and secure lasting peace.

For more details, see the press release from the Carnegie Foundation-Peace Palace.

On behalf of everyone at HD, I look forward to receiving the prize from Piet Hein Donner, Chairman of the Board of the Carnegie Foundation, in a ceremony at the Peace Palace in The Hague on 3 November.
