Overall Purpose:

The HR Associate who will be responsible for supporting recruitment, learning, and talent management activities. Working closely with the HR Manager and business partners S/He will ensure that the organization attracts and retains top talent, and that employees are provided with opportunities for growth and development.

Overall, this role is focused on providing support and assistance in various HR functions. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and develop their skills in the field of HR.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment:
  • Support the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks;
  • Assist in the collaboration with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements;
  • Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals;
  • Utilize recruitment tools, KPIs, metrics, and statistics to track and improve the effectiveness of recruitment efforts;
  • Learning:
  • Assist with the development and implementation of training and development programs.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, and materials preparation.
  • Manage the administration of training programs, including tracking attendance, evaluations, and follow-up activities.
  • Talent Management:
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement talent management initiatives, such as performance management, succession planning, and career development.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of job descriptions, competency models, and career paths.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, learning, and talent management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Fluency in both English and French

Additional skills needed for the position:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
