Omeyya Seddik joined HD in 2012 and serves as a Senior Adviser in the MENA region. Omeyya’s work covers a wide range of issues, including national dialogue, security, radicalism, sectarian conflict and military issues. In 2014, he was HD’s lead mediator in the Tunisia dialogue process that brokered the Tunisian Charter of Honour for the elections. He has also worked closely with the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet who have received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015. He is also a part of the HD team that has led the preparation of the Libyan National Conference, has negotiated the launch of the ceasefire work and has shaped the roadmap for Libyan political process.
