Annual report 2012
HD’s 2012 annual report provides an overview of the organisation’s activities and achievements in 2012, with a special focus on three key events: the signing of the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro in the Philippines, an exceptional Oslo Forum highlighted by the presence of Aung San Suu Kyi at the opening plenary, and the signing of the Nakuru County Peace Accord in Kenya in August 2012.
The report also provides an overview of activities carried out in each region – Africa, Asia, as well as the Middle East and North Africa – and as part of HD’s global programmes: mediation support, humanitarian mediation, and gender. This overview is complemented by a special interview on the Arab Spring with HD’s Honorary President, Dr Javier Solana, as well as interviews with others who have collaborated with the organisation in 2012.
