Idealism and realism in humanitarian action

While humanitarians may have been involved in quite a lot of ethical standard setting, they are aware that there are others who do not generally share their moral view. They have their ideals but there is also reality. This paper was the basis of 2 talks given at the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID).
