The Oslo Forum 2010 took place in Norway on 15-17 June 2010. It brought together 90 participants including eminent personalities such as the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jonas Gahr Støre; the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmet Davutoglu; and the Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mahmoud.
The variety of participants reflected the growing number of actors mediating armed conflict, ranging from government and private actors to international and regional organisations. Because of the exceptional variety of perspectives, discussions at the Oslo Forum 2010 were particularly rich and animated.
