The Oslo Forum at 20: A visual journey of mediation and peacemaking
In June 2023, the Oslo Forum celebrated its 20th anniversary. Now the premier retreat for peacemakers around the world, it all began in 2003 as a modest group of mediators sitting around a wooden dining table.
With this collection of photos and memories, we invite you to join the mediators, diplomats, experts and conflict parties who have come together over two decades to share perspectives, assess crises, discuss challenging issues and open paths to peace.
The annual gatherings and regional events – held under the Chatham House Rule to foster open dialogue in a discreet setting – are co-hosted by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.
