Release of our Colleague Laurent Vinatier - HD's Official statement

The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) welcomes reports of the release of our dear colleague, Laurent Vinatier, an adviser to the Centre who has been detained in Russia since June 2024.

As an impartial mediation organisation, HD’s engages with diverse officials and experts worldwide to advance efforts to prevent and resolve armed conflict. Laurent’s colleagues and friends are overjoyed at his return and stand in solidarity with him and his family as they move forward.

HD wishes to thank all parties involved for their efforts and expresses great relief that Laurent is being reunited with his loved ones.
