- Prior to Bootstrap, Fatou was a co-founder of The Real Economy Effect (TREE) in 2012 where she managed private equity and venture capital portfolios.
- Fatou worked with the UN World Food Programme as a Regional Programme Officer for the African Risk Capacity, a groundbreaking $100M insurtech providing parametric insurance for weather disasters to vulnerable populations in Africa.
- In recent years, Fatou has also been featured on Forbes top 100 Women in Tech in France.
