Empowering rapid response
When conflict erupts, the flexibility of the HD Peace Fund enables us to act swiftly and effectively.
For example, HD was able to reposition quickly in Ukraine in early 2022, contributing concepts and discreet support for the Black Sea Initiative that re-opened food shipments to millions of people.

Driving innovation

HD’s achievements in digital and environmental peacemaking include a social media code of conduct in Bosnia and Herzegovina, natural resource peace agreements in Nigeria and the first code of conduct for fisheries in the South China Sea.
